No, there's no iPhone 16 (yet).
Apple did not announce any new hardware at Monday's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), but instead, big updates in the software and artificial intelligence space.
Beyond the new announcements of iOS 18 and MacOS Sequoia, Apple is making new moves and enhancing existing software with Apple Intelligence, the tech giant's new AI system. This includes big improvements to Siri, Apple's digital assistant that has been available on multiple devices for years.
Also announced Monday were updates to operating systems, including those that run Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, AirPods, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac.
Here's what you should know.

No new iPhone or MacBook, but changes coming soon with 'Apple Intelligence' and OS upgrades
Apple Intelligence was one of the biggest announcements that came out of WWDC 2024, with capabilities that include actions across apps − like carrying out tasks on your behalf.
Siri is getting smarter and will be more "natural, relevant, personal." Demos of Siri updates included how the virtual assistant can better cross reference information and take action to become more useful to users. Siri's changes will also be coming to Mac and iPad, not just iPhone.
Also new is Genmoji, which can be created in messages using natural search language across themes, concepts, accessories, places and more in the new Image Playground feature.
In addition to messages, the Genmoji will be available in Keynote, Pages and Freeform apps, along with an Image Wand in the Notes app, in the tool palette. There will also be a new dedicated Image Playground app.
What operating systems did Apple announce?
A slew of operating systems for multiple Apple devices were announced at WWDC 2024, including WatchOS 11 for Apple Watch, iPadOS 18 for iPad, MacOS Sequoia for Mac and iOS 18 for iPhone.
Updates to the new computer operating system, which Apple named Sequoia, include improvements to iMessage, Maps, Safari, desktop organization and the ability to use an iPhone on the computer, even if the phone is located in another room.
iOS 18 comes with the "biggest redesign ever" for the photos app, including new collections, carousel and organization, such as recent days. There are also updates to Maps, which include topographic maps and hiking trails, and Wallet, with a "tap to cash" option to send and receive money. For iMessage, users can tap back with any emoji or sticker, and you will be able to schedule messages to send later.
What is the newest iPhone?
Apple did not release a new iPhone at Monday's WWDC event, which means the iPhone 15 − announced last September − is still the newest iPhone on the market.
Apple previously announced new iPad Pro, Air, Apple Pencil and more
Apple hosted a "Let Loose" event in early May, in what CEO Tim Cook said was "the biggest day for iPad since it's introduction."
The iPad Air and iPad Pro got significant upgrades, and Apple also introduced a new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard for the devices. Apple also lowered the price on the existing iPad 10-inch, which will now start at $349.
